Carson Wentz is engaged.

Carson Wentz has had a pretty good last few days. Just days after winning a Super Bowl, Wentz gave out a ring instead of receiving one.

The star quarterback was an MVP candidate before tearing his ACL in December. He led the NFL in touchdown passes at the time of his injury, but the Eagles were in good hands.

Nick Foles took over for Wentz and led Philadelphia to its first Super Bowl championship. Wentz received a Super Bowl ring for the win, despite seeing the field.

Of course, Wentz is deserving of a ring after leading Philadelphia to the No. 1 seed in the NFC. It's not his fault he wasn't able to stay healthy enough to lead the Eagles in the playoffs as well.

Wentz is two months into his ACL recovery, and things are looking good. The high of winning a Super Bowl definitely helps.

Now Wentz has another reason to smile. On Tuesday afternoon he announced his engagement to girlfriend Maddie Oberg.

The couple was first seen together on Wentz's Instagram in 2017. Now, they're engaged.

Not a bad week to be Carson Wentz. Congratulations to the couple!
