On Sunday afternoon, the Washington Redskins took the field against the New York Giants in a battle of NFC East foes.

Early in the first quarter, Redskins quarterback Case Keenum threw an interception - though it wasn't all his fault. The ball deflected right in to the hands of a Giants defender for the first turnover of the game.

However, Keenum has been less-than-stellar through much of the first quarter and fans have had enough.

Those watching from home are calling for the Redskins to put in rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins.

Washington head coach Jay Gruden made it clear earlier this week that Haskins won't see the field as long as the Redskins have a chance to win. It was a truly asinine comment from the head coach - one that enraged fans.

The Redskins selected the former Ohio State quarterback with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. They drafted him to be the quarterback of the future, but he hasn't seen the field at all this season.

Fans have had enough and they want to see their rookie quarterback take the field.

As for today's game, the Giants have rolled out to an early 14-0 lead in the second quarter.
