Washington Redskins star tight end Jordan Reed was ejected from this evening's Monday Night Football game against the Carolina Panthers for throwing a punch.

Here's video of the incident.

Reed was battling injuries tonight and finished the game with one catch for six yards.

He said this of his injury heading into the game:

“This week I’m more confident in it, less scared of getting hit,” said Reed, who is tied for second on the team with 60 receptions. “I know how the pain feels, and I can manage the pain. There were a couple times I got hit [vs . the Eagles] and jammed up on the line where it was painful.”

On the season he has 61 catches for 646 yards and five touchdowns.

The Redskins currently trail the Panthers, 23-12. The game is being televised on ESPN.
