Mitch Trubisky made his return to the Chicago Bears starting lineup after missing Week 5 with an injury. Based on his performance, fans seems to wish he’d stayed gone longer.
The Bears lost to the New Orleans Saints today in a game where Chicago was barely competitive on offense or defense. Their lone touchdown prior to garbage time came on a 102-yard Cordarelle Patterson kickoff return.
New Orleans won the game 36-25 in a game that was far more lopsided than the final score would indicate. The Bears offense didn’t score a touchdown until there was less than three minutes remaining in the game.
There was plenty of blame to go around, but the fans have selected their target: Mitch Trubisky.
Tons of fans took to social media during and after the game to rip Trubisky. They collectively made it clear that they’re done with the former No. 3 overall pick they traded up in 2017 to get.
There is no more need for data in the "Is Mitch Trubisky good" conversation. The answer is no.
Would be better off starting Chase Daniel

I've been firmly in Mitch Trubisky's camp for awhile.
I thought he would take that step forward this year. He showed enough last year that I thought he'd take the next step.
Not a superstar but solid.
He isn't even at the level he was at last year. He's been flat out bad.

Some also frustratingly reminded themselves that the Bears traded up to take him as opposed to either reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes or Pro Bowl QB Deshaun Watson.
The Bears drafted Mitch Trubisky ahead of Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes. I think about this at least once a day.

The Bears fell to 3-3 on the season with the loss, and their next two games won’t be much easier with the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles both on the schedule.
Suffice it to say, Trubisky and head coach Matt Nagy will need to really spice things up if they hope to trigger a quick turnaround.
