Midway through the third quarter, Chicago have dominated on both sides of the ball. They lead 21-0 due in no small part to a much better performance from Fields.
The rookie quarterback has completed 67-percent of his passes for 169 yards. He did have an interception in the second quarter, but the Lions offense didn’t score any points off of it.
Fields is still chasing his first NFL touchdown pass. But with the way the Lions defense has been giving up yardage through the air and the ground, it feels like that first touchdown is imminent.
And the Bears fanbase is ready for it:

Justin Fields was the backup quarterback heading into this season. He could not beat out Andy Dalton for the starting job, but wasn’t exactly given a chance at it either.
But when Dalton suffered an injury, Fields was thrust into action. He helped lead the Bears to a win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 before losing his first start to the Cleveland Browns the following week.
Fields wasn’t exactly sharp against the Browns, completing just 30-percent of his passes in a 26-6 loss.
But if he keeps up this pace, he’ll get his first win as an NFL starter.
The game is being played on FOX.
