According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Miller is heading to the Houston Texans. Garafolo’s colleague Ian Rapoport says the two teams agreed to a late-round pick swap as compensation.
Miller has been on the market for much of this offseason. The former Memphis star showed flashes in his three years in Chicago, but did not have the impact the Bears thought he’d have when they picked him.
Miller finished his Chicago tenure with 134 receptions, 1,564 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 47 regular season games. In his last game in a Bears uniform, he was ejected from the team’s Wild Card loss to the New Orleans Saints for an altercation with New Orleans cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

The good news for Miller? There could be plenty of opportunities for him in Houston. The Texans’ wide receiver depth chart isn’t exactly stacked.
The bad news? After suffering through playing with the likes of Mitchell Trubisky, Chase Daniel and Nick Foles in Chicago, Miller now goes to a team that has Tyrod Taylor and rookie Davis Mills as its top two QB options with Deshaun Watson out indefinitely.
Hopefully for Miller’s sake he can make the best out of his new surroundings.
