Lions TE Eric Ebron To Wear Special Military-Themed Cleats This Sunday
Eric Ebron will wear military-themed cleats this Sunday as a tribute to his father and grandfather who both served in the Marines.
Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron found a pretty cool way to honor his father and grandfather who both served in the military. This Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, he'll be wearing a custom pair of Nike cleats with his grandfather's name imprinted on the them.

Pretty good stuff.
Ebron's grandfather was U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Oling R. Jackson, who served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Jackson passed away in 2003.
Ebron has a history of using his cleats to show respect to important figures in his life. During training camp in August, he wore cleats with boxing gloves and a picture of Muhammad Ali to honor the late boxer after he passed away.
The Lions take on the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. E.T. and you can catch the game on Fox.
