Jags vs. Lions preview:
The Jaguars are not very good. They’re not even bad. They are terrible. After opening the season with three straight losses, the Jags looked to be turning things around with back-to-back wins against the Colts and Bears. However, Jacksonville has dropped four straight games at the hands of the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, and Houston Texans and now sit at the bottom of the AFC South.
The Detroit Lions opened the season with a win over the Indianapolis Colts. Then they dropped three straight against the Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears. Then they took down the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles and kept to their winning ways against the Los Angeles Rams and Washington Redskins. Detroit then stumbled against the Texans, but regained some momentum with a win over Minnesota before the Lions bye week.
The Jags and Lions have played each other five times, with the Jags winning three of the five contests despite being outscored by 128-112.
Jags vs. Lions prediction:
Matthew Stafford has been good so far this season for the Lions, and despite not being able to run the football, Detroit is still above .500.
The Jaguars are not a very good football team, and Blake Bortles is not a very good quarterback. Bad news for the Jags.
