The Detroit Lions have quietly gone through the first three games of the season undefeated - albeit the team tied the Arizona Cardinals in their season opener.

One of the biggest reasons for Detroit's early success is Matthew Stafford. He's done an excellent job with the offense without turning over the ball at a high clip.

Stafford has thrown for 831 yards and six touchdowns through the team's first three games. Unfortunately for the former top pick, he's battling a hip injury that could jeopardize his availability for Week 4.

According to NFL Network Insider, the Lions have listed Stafford as questionable for this weekend's game.

Detroit is hosting Kansas City on Sunday in what should be a high-scoring game. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have looked incredible thus far, defeating the Jaguars, Raiders and Ravens with relative ease.

While a victory over the Chiefs would be quite the statement from the Lions, it's tough to see them pulling off the upset if they don't have Stafford.

The good news for Detroit is that Stafford hasn't missed a game since 2010. Throughout his career he's fought through injuries, including issues with his back and ankle.

Kickoff for this game is at 1 p.m. ET from Ford Field. We'll find out then if Stafford is healthy enough to play.
