There’s plenty of reasons to believe Aaron Rodgers has played his last down for the Green Bay Packers. According to FS1’s Colin Cowherd, it won’t matter if Jordan Love turns out to be a quality starter.
All the attention surrounding the Packers this off-season has centered around Rodgers, which is to be expected. He wants out of Green Bay. He hasn’t shown up to any off-season programs. And some question whether or not he’ll even play football this upcoming season.
While most of the media focuses on Rodgers, Cowherd thinks it’s time to start talking more about Love. Why? Well, if the former Utah State star plays well this upcoming season, Rodgers will be a thing of the past.
Everything surrounding the Packers will come down to whether or not Love can be the franchise quarterback Green Bay expects. The good thing is the former first-round pick had a terrific day at practice earlier this week. So far, Cowherd loves what he’s seen from Love.
“This story is all about Jordan Love,” Cowherd said during his Thursday show. “Yesterday was a very good day. He was composed speaking. Very composed. Very confident. And he was very good on the field. Yesterday was as good a day as Green Bay has had this offseason.”
Take a look.
If Jordan Love can play, everything is solved for Green Bay. @ColinCowherd explains:

Colin Cowherd may be right here.
Sure, losing Aaron Rodgers is painful. But the pain will be eased if Jordan Love turns out to be a quality starter.
