Update: The Green Bay Packers’ receiving corps is banged up, and that was true even before Geronimo Allison suffered a scary-looking injury tonight.
On the first play of the second half, Allison dove for a low pass by Aaron Rodgers. He was hit helmet-to-helmet by Detroit Lions defensive back Tracy Walker.
The contact was incidental, as Walker was simply trying to make a play on the ball. However, the hit was flagged and Allison was down for several minutes.
Thankfully, he was able to walk off under his own power and enter the blue medical tent on the Green Bay sideline.
Here’s a look at the play.

Prior to getting knocked out of the game, Allison made three receptions for 40 yards, good enough for the team lead. However, he was responsible for multiple dropped passes as well.
Green Bay and Detroit are locked in a tight game on ESPN, with the score now tied at 13 early in the third quarter.
Stay tuned for any further updates on Allison.
Update: Allison is being evaluated for a chest injury and a concussion. He is questionable to return.
Geronimo Allison is questionable to return with a chest injury and I also being evaluated for a concussion. This comes after MVS was hurt earlier in the game (he is back in) – remember Davante Adams is also out with turf toe. #DETvsGB #packers #GoPackGo
