On Thursday night, the Philadelphia Eagles took down the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in what turned into an ugly contest with several serious injuries.

Packers running back Jamaal Williams and Eagles corner Avonte Maddox were both carted off the field after taking dangerous hits to the head.

Despite the serious nature of their injuries, both Williams and Maddox appear to be doing well. The latter flew home to Philadelphia with the Eagles after a brief stay at a local hospital.

Williams made it clear he's on the mend as well. The running back took to Instagram with a message for his fans, letting the world know he's okay.

"Appreciate it everyone for checking on my. I'm good. Only thing hurting right now is my pride for not being able to finish the game with my team. It's all gonna be good...long season," Williams wrote.

Williams left the game in the first quarter after taking a hit to the head from Eagles defensive lineman Derek Barnett.

The Packers went forward with Aaron Jones as the only running back active once Williams left the game.

However, with a week to recover and scout for the next game, Green Bay should be in a solid place for the game against Dallas.
