Aaron Rodgers stunned the NFL world with some major personal news during his MVP acceptance speech earlier this month. The Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback also gave a surprise shoutout during that speech.

“It’s an honor to win this award for the third time. 2020 was definitely a crazy year, filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing memorable moments. 180 straight days of having my nose hairs scraped. Playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season, I got engaged, and I played some of the best football of my career,” said Rodgers, who is engaged to actress Shailene Woodley.

During Rodgers' acceptance speech, he also gave a surprise shoutout to Hollywood actress Jodie Foster.

We're still not exactly sure why that happened, but Foster attempted to clear things up this week.

“He just knows I’m his biggest fan,” Foster explained this week on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Perhaps, or maybe it was because she's currently working on a movie together, "The Mauritanian."

“I don’t know if that’s a coincidence … and she’s fantastic,” Foster said. “So we spent a lot of time on ‘The Mauritanian’ together in a little tent with a little air-conditioning spitting at us, talking about our lives, and recipes, and people we hate, and things like that.”

Either way, it's good to be Jodie Foster.
