John Kuhn Writes Heartfelt Farewell To Packer Fans

During his nine seasons with the Green Bay Packers, fullback John Kuhn was a fan favorite. The Green Bay faithful cheered when he touched the football, and loved chanting "Kuuuuuuuuuhhnnnnn" at Lambeau Field and on the road.

This week, Kuhn signed a one-year deal to join the New Orleans Saints, meaning he'll be leaving the green and gold behind. Many Packer fans were distressed to learn this, but Kuhn wanted to make sure he went out on a high note.

This afternoon, Kuhn released a heartfelt thank you to Packer nation.

As a Packer, Kuhn rushed for 601 yards and 18 touchdowns, while catching 81 passes for 557 receiving yards and eight more scores.

During the 2010 playoffs, Kuhn became the first Packer in 27 years to have a receiving and rushing TD in a single postseason game.

An undrafted free agent out of Shippensburg in 2005, Kuhn began his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
