The first round of the 2022 NFL draft hasn't exactly been kind to the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

With two first-round picks, fans thought the team would be in perfect position to draft a wide receiver. Unfortunately for the Packers, all of the top wide receivers came off the board before they were on the clock.

With their first selection, the Packers picked former Georgia linebacker Quay Walker. Just a few picks later, the team added another Georgia star defender, defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt.

That led to plenty of reaction from around social media, with most feeling sorry for Packers fans.

"Packers fans are gonna be pissed, and I guess I understand, but just remember you're gonna win 12-13 games and lose in either the divisional round or title game and that many many fanbases would sign up for that," one person joked.

Others think this draft was a shot at star quarterback Aaron Rodgers. "Packers really drafted TWO DEFENSIVE PLAYERS in the first round? Such a middle finger to Rodgers. Love it. More drama," another person said.

"I swear the Packers are trolling Aaron Rodgers," PFF analyst Sam Monson said.

Did the Packers make the right decisions?
