When the Green Bay Packers take the field on Sunday night, it's unclear if star wide receiver Davante Adams will be in pads, or street clothes like he has been over the past few weeks.
After a slow start to the season, Adams torched the Philadelphia Eagles secondary on a Thursday night game. Unfortunately for Adams and the Packers, he suffered a toe injury late in the fourth quarter of that game.
The star wideout has missed three games while dealing with the toe injury. However, the Packers have won all three games, including a dominant performance from Aaron Rodgers and the offense last weekend against the Oakland Raiders.
Now with a road trip to Kansas City on the docket, the Packers updated the health of Adams.
Head coach Matt Lafleur said he did not know how far along Adams was in his rehab and that his status could go right up to game time, according to Tom Silverstein.
Adams is Aaron Rodgers' favorite target, but that didn't stop Rodgers from going off last weekend against the Raiders.
Rodgers threw for over 400 yards and five touchdowns, while adding another score on the ground.
Green Bay and Kansas City kick off on Sunday night at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
