Even with the 2021 NFL Draft just hours away, teams are still trying to make big trades happen. The biggest name being targeted by teams is Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.

According to FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer, "a few teams" have contacted the Packers about trading for Rodgers. He didn't need to say more as the Packers have made it clear they aren't fielding offers for him.

Reports emerged earlier today that the San Francisco 49ers were among the teams that reached out about Rodgers. Whether that happened before or after they traded for the No. 3 overall pick (or both) would definitely be interesting.

Rumors have circulated for months that the relationship between Rodgers and the Packers has soured. The team drafted his presumed successor last year in Jordan Love rather than invest in the present.

The result was a team that reached the NFC Championship Game after a 13-3 season but once again came up short.

There's a very good chance that Aaron Rodgers doesn't finish his NFL career in Green Bay regardless of whether they trade him this year or next. If players like Tom Brady, Philip Rivers and Peyton Manning can finish their careers with other teams, Rodgers certainly can.

Right now though, it looks like the Packers intend to make at least one more run with Rodgers at the helm.

Will we see Aaron Rodgers traded before the 2021 NFL season? Will we see him finish his career in Green Bay?
