Earlier this week, the sports world learned that - for the second time this year - Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley are splitting up.
After calling off their engagement earlier this year, the actress and star quarterback have been spotted together recently. Unfortunately for Rodgers, it sounds like Woodley is "done" with Rodgers.
Following their latest breakup, Woodley took to social media with a post about grief.
The post read, "'Grief expressed out loud for someone we have lost, or a country or home we have lost, is in itself the greatest praise we could ever give them,' says writer Martín Prechtel. 'Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.'
The post continued, "Seeing grief in this way helps us respect what we are going through, rather than being mired in shame and discouragement on top of the pain we already feel."
As for why she decided to end the relationship, Woodley apparently felt like everything was on Rodgers' terms.
"Shailene tried to give it another shot and was spending time with Aaron," an insider told E! News. "But she quickly saw that everything was on his terms and nothing was going to change. There was no reason to continue and she's done with it again."
It's been a tough year for Rodgers, who lost Woodley and his favorite wide receiver, Davante Adams, earlier this offseason.
