Adrian Peterson went down in Week 2 with a torn meniscus. After an incredibly quick recovery, he says he will play on Sunday.
The Vikings superstar running back told Dash Radio that he will return to the field to face the Colts on Sunday.
Peterson wasn't exactly setting the world on fire earlier in the year. He only had 50 yards on 31 carries before going down with the injury. However, without him, the Vikings have been one of the NFL's worst rushing teams, with no rusher totaling more than 388 yards total on the season. Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata have split the majority of the carries, but neither has truly made a huge impact.
The Vikings face the Colts in Minnesota at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18.
