While Ezekiel Elliott was shut down by the Vikings on Sunday Night Football, his Minnesota counterpart Dalvin Cook put on a show.
Cook rushed for only 97 yards on 26 carries, but scored a touchdown on the ground and excelled as a receiver. He finished with seven catches for 86 yards in the Vikings’ 28-24 win over Dallas.
Finally healthy, Cook has firmly announced his place as one of the elite running backs in the NFL. In fact, there’s a case to be made that he’s the most dynamic all-around back in the game right now.
After last night’s win, Cook exchanged jerseys with Elliott at midfield. Before presenting the jersey to Cook, Elliott quickly signed it.
On it, he wrote “Go get that bag $$.”

Zeke knows something about securing the bag, having signed a six-year contract this offseason worth up to $90 million.
Cook will be eligible to sign an extension with the Vikings this January. If he continues to perform at this level, he could be in the running for a monster deal like Elliott’s.
