The Minnesota Vikings won today’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, making it two in a row. However, they might have lost a key rookie in the process.
Cornerback Mike Hughes, the team’s first-round pick in April’s draft, suffered a leg injury today. The Vikings reportedly fear it is serious.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Minnesota thinks Hughes tore his ACL.

Hughes is having a strong rookie season so far. He’s made 22 tackles, broken up three passes and returned an interception for a touchdown.
We’ll update you on Hughes’ status when more info becomes available.
As of now, it seems like the Vikings are holding their breath.
