The Minnesota Vikings will have to secure a key divisional win without the services of top wide receiver Adam Thielen.

Thielen, who caught a touchdown early in today's game against the Detroit Lions, left the contest with a hamstring injury. He hasn't returned, and is officially done for the day.

The Vikings updated Thielen's status to "out" moments ago.

Thielen's only reception today was a 25-yard touchdown toss from Kirk Cousins. The throw and the catch were both outstanding.

For the season, Thielen has 27 receptions for 391 yards and six touchdowns. Four of those touchdowns have come in the last three games against Detroit, Philadelphia and the New York Giants.

With Minnesota slated to play this coming Thursday on a short-week, Thielen's injury might keep him out of his team's next game.

Currently, the Vikings lead the Lions 28-21 in the second half in Detroit.
