Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a nice one-liner today regarding the Falcons pumping in crowd noise.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a strange individual. That much is well-documented. So it follows that his odd attempts at humor are often misunderstood, or are just downright baffling to people. But today, he laid down a zinger of a dad-joke that even the most casual of NFL fans could understand.
Check it out:
Heyoooo. Aaron Rodgers has jokes! A flawless set-up followed by a perfect punchline. If that joke were a football play, it'd be a 50-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams. Nice.
What he's referring to, of course, occurred during the 2015 NFL season, when it was discovered that the Falcons were pumping in fake crowd noise for home games. The franchise was subsequently fined $350,000 and they lost their fifth-round draft pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Honestly, with the way that Rodgers has been playing, it might not be a bad idea for the Falcons to look into doing that again.
