If your name is "Drake," you had a nice Thursday night.

Before the first round of the NFL Draft began, Drake the rapper placed $100,000 on USC's Drake London being the first wide receiver taken off the board.

Well, that turned out to be a smart bet by Drake because the Atlanta Falcons selected London with the No. 8 pick in the draft.

Since the wager that Drake placed had 3.35 to 1 odds, it paid out $335,000.

London was actually aware of Drake's bet heading into the NFL Draft.

"My friends were hitting my phone saying Champagne Papi bet on me, so I thought that was funny," London said, via the Falcons' team site.

London was a phenomenal wideout at USC, finishing the 2021 season with 88 receptions for 1,084 yards and seven touchdowns. He's excited to help the Falcons get their franchise back on track.

"I just felt like I wanted to be in Atlanta at the end of the day," London explained. This is where I wanted to end up. … We're moving in the right direction, and I can't wait to go out there and put on that jersey and just be a dirty bird at the end of the day."

Only time will tell if the Falcons made the right move selecting London over Chris Olave, Jameson Williams and Garrett Wilson.
