The Atlanta Falcons are at risk of not having two star receivers in their next game as Mohamed Sanu and Calvin Ridley battle injuries.
Per ProFootballTalk, Sanu and Ridley were both held out of practice today with injuries.
Sanu is battling an ankle injury, while the rookie Ridley is dealing with a hip problem.
The receiving duo currently account for nine of Atlanta's 14 receiving TDs. They are both proving to be superb second and third options after Julio Jones.
Sanu is in his third year with the Falcons after a solid-but-unremarkable four-year career with the Cincinnati Bengals. Ridley, meanwhile, is quietly having a very solid rookie season, already recording six TDs (six more than Julio Jones).
Despite their 2-4 record, QB Matt Ryan is having a remarkable year. He has 14 TDs to only two INTs, and is completing just under 70% of his passes.
The Falcons will face the 1-5 New York Giants on Monday Night Football.
