Kia's "Hero's Journey" Starring Melissa McCarthy Was Top-Rated Super Bowl Ad
Kia had a hit with its "Hero's Journey" advertisement during the Super Bowl.
The ads during this year's Super Bowl weren't fantastic, but there were a few diamonds in the rough. The best of the bunch? According to a poll conducted by USA Today on Ad Meter, the Kia "Hero's Journey" ad featuring Melissa McCarthy had the highest average rating.
The ad promoted the 2017 Kia Niro. It featured McCarthy attempting to save the whales, save the trees, save the ice caps and save the rhinos. It was well-done.
