Former Ohio State star Curtis Samuel sure has a flair for the dramatic. His first career NFL touchdown was an eye-popping one.
Injuries limited Samuel’s rookie season in 2017. He looks healthy now though.
In the first quarter of today’s game against the New York Giants, Samuel took a quick screen from Cam Newton and sliced his way through the defense. He shook off multiple tacklers before finishing in the end zone.
Now, this is definitely bad defense by the Giants. There were about six guys who had a shot at Samuel and couldn’t bring him down.
Still, this is pretty impressive speed and power.
1st catch of the season.
1st career touchdown.
There was no denying Curtis Samuel.

Samuel and the Panthers lead the Giants 14-3 in the second quarter in Carolina.
The Panthers had an early Week 4 bye, so a win today in Week 5 would make them 3-1.
