Panthers vs. Seahawks preview:

The Panthers (4-7) are fresh off of a 35-32 loss to the Raiders last week giving them their second loss in their last three games played. The Seahawks (7-3-1) fell to the Buccaneers last Sunday 14-5 which snapped their three-game winning streak.

Seattle struggled mightily in Tampa Bay last week as it put up just 245 yards of offense while allowing 338 yards from the Bucs. Russell Wilson had a horrid day as he went just 17-for-33 through the air for 151 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Jimmy Graham caught six of those 17 completed passed for 67 yards.

The Panthers put together a valiant comeback against the Raiders, but couldn't pull out the win last week. Carolina put up 358 yards of offense with a balanced attack as Cam Newton led the way with 246 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Jonathan Stewart picked up 96 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries as well.

The Seahawks are 5-3 all-time in regular season meetings against the Panthers.

Panthers vs. Seahawks Prediction:

The Panthers are so hard to gauge as their playoff chances are nearly gone, but they did look strong last week in Oakland despite the loss. Seattle still looks like a playoff team, but then again it looked abysmal last week in Tampa Bay.

With that, Seattle's defense is still Seattle's defense, but the Seahawks' offense is a major question mark. Newton and his offense will be up for this game on the road and make enough plays to pick up the win.
