New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara' legal case will continue to linger. On Monday, a judge postponed Kamara's hearing regarding a felony assault case.

Kamara, Chiefs cornerback Chris Lammons and two other men were accused of severely beating a man at a Las Vegas nightclub the weekend of the Pro Bowl.

The attorneys for the four defendants asked for more time so they can review video evidence regarding the alleged February battery. This is the second time this hearing has been postponed.

Originally, the hearing for this alleged battery case was set for March 8. It was then pushed to April 25. Now, it's set to take place on Aug. 1.

Some NFL fans are starting to wonder if this matter will be taken care of before the start of the 2022 season.

"August 1? Man they gonna play with this for a whole year before anything happens," one fan tweeted.

Saints fans, however, seem content with how this situation is playing out.

Kamara was arrested after playing in the Pro Bowl. Video evidence reportedly shows Kamara putting his hand on the alleged victim's chest during this physical altercation.

The NFL usually waits for the legal process to play out before disciplining its players.

If Kamara's hearing actually takes place on Aug. 1, the NFL may possibly suspend him once it's over.
