The New Orleans Saints are dealing with a situation in Los Angeles. Drew Brees is out of the game.
Brees injured his throwing hand when it was hit by the Rams’ Aaron Donald after he released a pass. His hand was examined after the series.
According to FOX sideline reporter Erin Andrews, Brees tried to throw some passes on the sideline but wasn’t able to grip the football adequately. He has been replaced by Teddy Bridgewater.
Officially, Brees is “questionable” to return with a right hand injury.

The Rams currently lead the Saints 3-0 in the first quarter. We’ll see if Brees has to miss the rest of the game.
Bridgewater played well in limited action last season, but it is a lot different when you are now thrust into the action against a quality opponent in the middle of a game.
We will keep you updated on Brees as more info becomes available.
