While fans in New Orleans anxiously wait for Drew Brees to decide if he'll retire or return for his 20th season, the future Hall of Famer seems to be enjoying his time off.

Brees made it clear that he needs time to relax before he'll make a decision regarding his career. He'll likely announce his future plans in the coming weeks since free agency is set to begin in a month.

In honor of Valentine's Day, the All-Pro quarterback shared a photo of him and his wife Brittany enjoying nature. However, fans in New Orleans weren't exactly thrilled with the post. As a matter of fact, the majority of fans that saw the post were worried for his safety.

The photo that Brees shared shows him standing a couple of feet away from a gorilla. Fans are concerned for his safety, but fortunately this picture was actually taken in 2019 when he and his wife went to Africa on a humanitarian mission.

It's easy to see why fans were concerned about Brees' safety.

Even when Brees isn't on the football field making plays, it seems like the Pro Bowl quarterback always keeps himself busy on some type of thrilling adventure.

Now that most fans in New Orleans have settled in and realized this picture is from the past, they can return to worrying about Brees' looming decision.

We'll find out soon enough if Brees wants to continue his NFL career.
