It seems like everyone on Twitter has a comment on the Antonio Brown situation but New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas’ take was unique.
Thomas didn’t really comment on AB in particular, but he used the situation to take a jab at Oakland Raiders general manager Mike Mayock. Mayock, you might remember, is a former NFL draft analyst, and he wasn’t particularly high on Thomas three years ago.
According to Thomas, Mayock had him as his No. 6 overall wide receiver in 2016.
I wouldn’t take Mike Mayock to serious either for the simple fact he had the nerves to rank 5 guys higher then me coming out the draft. And we all know how that worked out . Who Dat tho #letscallaspadeaspade

Thomas was actually the fifth wide receiver taken in the 2016 draft. Will Fuller, Laquon Treadwell and Josh Doctson all went in the first round while Sterling Shepard went seven picks before Thomas in the second.
Thomas has been the most productive of the group by far, so he’s getting the last laugh on Mayock or anyone else who doubted him.
He likes to let them know about it to, as this isn’t the first time he’s referenced his draft position or scouting report on Twitter.
