The New Orleans Saints have suffered a big loss ahead of Sunday afternoon's game in Denver.

New Orleans and Denver are scheduled to play on Sunday afternoon. The Saints will unfortunately be without one of their most-important offensive players (and we're not talking about Drew Brees, who remains on the IR with an injury).

Saints Pro Bowl left tackle Terron Armstead has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter shared the news.

"A significant loss for New Orleans’ offensive line: Saints’ Pro-Bowl LT Terron Armstead tested positive for COVID and is out for Sunday‘ a game vs. the Broncos, per sources," he reports.

This is a big loss for a Saints team that is already without Brees. The superstar quarterback has been placed on the IR after playing through multiple rib injuries.

New Orleans is starting Taysom Hill at quarterback in his absence. Hill is a lot more mobile than Brees, so that's one positive of having him behind center with Amrstead out.

The Saints and the Broncos are scheduled to kick off at 4:05 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.

The game will be on CBS.
