ESPN's Dan Orlovsky believes the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should trade for Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. Why? Good question.

Tom Brady is un-retired and will be the Buccaneers' starting quarterback this upcoming season. Tampa Bay also already has a backup quarterback in Blaine Gabbert.

However, Gabbert doesn't have the potential to be a franchise quarterback. Mayfield, on the other hand, does. Sitting behind Mayfield for a year could be invaluable experience for the former No. 1 overall pick.

Mayfield would then become a free agent in 2023. If the Bucs like what they see from Mayfield, and Brady decides to re-retire, he could make sense as a longterm option for the organization.

A few NFL fans actually thinks it makes plenty of sense.

"Bruce Arians does love him some Baker Mayfield. Would be fun. Not a terrible QB room to grow in, either. A year to Cleveland cleanse," Eddie Radosevich tweeted.

"One year of sitting behind Tom Brady and learning from Bruce Arians & Byron Leftwich, and Baker would emerge as the #1 free agent QB in 2023, with a chance to take over the Bucs. Baker should swallow his pride and be a backup for 1 season,' a fan added.

Should the Buccaneers take a chance on Baker Mayfield? Letting him learn from Tom Brady could be all he needs to elevate his game going into 2023.
