Antonio Brown and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reportedly reached a contract agreement for the remainder of the 2020 season.
The All-Pro wide receiver has not played in an NFL game since September of 2019, when he suited up for the New England Patriots. Now, Brown is reunited with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay.
Brown, 32, has been suspended for the first half of the regular season. He’s set to become eligible and when he does, he’ll reportedly be suiting up for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. ESPN confirmed the signing on Friday night.
“While contract language still has to be finalized and Brown has to pass COVID-19 protocols before he can join the team, Brown is likely to make his Bucs debut in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 8,” ESPN reports.
It appears Bruce Arians’ mindset on Brown has changed quite a bit over the past six-plus months. An old quote about Brown from Arians is going viral on social media.
“Yeah, it’s not gonna happen. There’s no room. And probably not enough money. But it’s not gonna happen — it’s not a fit here. I just know him, and — it’s not a fit in our locker room. He’s too much of a diva,” Arians said of Brown in March.

So much for that…
Tampa Bay, meanwhile, is 4-2 on the season and set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. E.T.
