The Bucs recently placed Suh on the reserve/COVID list, putting his availability for the 2021 season opener in jeopardy. But both Suh and the Tampa Bay defense received great news on Monday.
Suh, 34, has been activated from the reserve list and will play against the Dallas Cowboys this Thursday. To make matters worse for the Cowboys, they’ll be without Zack Martin, meaning Suh could have a strong performance.
The Buccaneers take on the Cowboys in the NFL’s official season opener this Thursday at 8:20 p.m. ET.

The Buccaneers return almost all their starters from last year’s championship team, which is a rarity in today’s era of sports. They’re the favorite both in the NFC and the NFL, but the Cowboys should have something to say about that.
Dallas is a dark-horse Super Bowl contender. Quarterback Dak Prescott should be at full strength after going down with a season-ending injury in 2020. When healthy, he’s more than capable of leading the Cowboys to an NFC East title. Luckily, we’ll find out everything we need to know about the Cowboys on Thursday night.
Ndamukong Suh and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host Prescott and the Cowboys on Thursday Night Football at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
