No news may still be good news when it comes to Rob Gronkowski and his NFL future.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles confirmed to the media on Sunday that Gronkowski's status with the team is still to be determined.

“It’s up in the air right now, but I feel OK about it,” Bowles said. “There are still things to work out, and we’ll see what the draft brings and we’ll keep working with those guys, as well.”

Many thought it was a foregone conclusion that Gronkowski would be back in the fold after Tom Brady announced he was returning. So far, he's slow-played his status and hasn't tipped his hand towards either side.

He's coming off another strong season after finishing with 802 yards and six touchdowns off 55 receptions. He can still make a big impact, even if he's a bit older.

If Gronkowski does come back, it'll make the Bucs' offense that much tougher to stop.

They'll have him, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Leonard Fournette all ready to go for another run.
