Earlier this afternoon, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers celebrated their Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs with a visit to the White House.
During the visit, star quarterback Tom Brady made a joke that had the sports world buzzing. The seven-time Super Bowl champion cracked a joke about the presidential race between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
He made fun of the fact that a percentage of the United States still believes Trump won the election – even though he did not.
“Not a lot of people think we could win. In fact, 40 percent, still don’t think we won. You understand that, Mr. President?” Brady asked President Biden.
Biden replied, “I understand that.”
Fans were clearly surprised by the remark from Brady, considering he seemed to show support for President Trump in the past.
Here was some of the reaction from around social media.
There aren't a lot of things I think could make Trump much angrier than Brady and Biden yukking it up together at his expense. https://t.co/xcxzdGlvr5

That wasn’t the only political joke Brady made during the course of the Buccaneers appearance at the White House.
“We had a game in Chicago where I forgot what down it was,” Brady said. “I lost track of one down in 21 years of playing. And they started calling me ‘Sleepy Tom.’ Why would they do that to me?”
This is the first time we’ve seen Brady at the White House in some time. He’s making it a time fans won’t soon forget.
