Tom Brady’s making plenty of changes in 2020, with the biggest change being his decision to leave New England for Tampa Bay.
The 42-year-old will be playing for a new coach and with new teammates. It’ll be interesting to see the kind of success Brady has with the Bucs in 2020.
One change that has yet to be sorted out is Brady’s jersey number. He’s always worn No. 12 throughout his NFL career, but that may not be the case in Tampa Bay.
Receiver Chris Godwin is the current owner of No. 12 for the Bucs – and it’s still unclear if he’ll be switching. But as of this moment, the Tampa Bay QB isn’t too concerned over what jersey number he’ll be wearing in 2020. Brady admitted his jersey number isn’t much of a priority right now:

Brady might be avoiding the question, but the Bucs’ team website is already selling No. 12 Brady jerseys. It certainly looks like he’ll continue to wear the number he’s worn throughout his NFL career.

But Brady is more focused on other things at the moment considering his playing days are numbered.
If he hopes to have success with the Bucs, he must begin working with Tampa Bay’s receivers to develop chemistry. As we all saw during his time in New England, Brady always had a solid connection with the offense.
