Tom Brady is having a lot of fun online today. After the announcement that this year's edition of The Matchwill pit him and PGA Championship-winner Phil Mickelson against Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and divisive golf star Bryson DeChambeau, Brady has been teeing off on the pair.

Brady opened with a crack about the Packers' controversial decision to kick a field goal rather than go for a touchdown, down seven points late in the NFC Championship against he and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rodgers was no fan of the decision, but Brady still joked that Rodgers is going to lay up rather than play aggressively.

From there, he's been having a ton of fun with the Brooks Koepka/DeChambeau meme from last weekend's PGA Championship. Koepka clearly doesn't like Bryson, and Brady posted a string of them, making fun of DeChambeau's unlikability, Rodgers' NFC title loss (again), and his own status as unlikely meme maker.

Brady's social media strategy is multi-platform, of course. He also posted a graphic for The Match on Instagram, with the caption "two champions vs. a scientist and a jeopardy host."

It is hard to deny that Tom Brady has zingers. Bryson DeChambeau majored in physics at SMU, and has famously used science to try and push the boundaries of his game. Rodgers is also known as one of football's more intellectual players, and after winning Celebrity Jeopardy! a few years ago, had a very successful run as guest host of the beloved show earlier this year. He has made it clear that he would accept the full-time job if it is offered to him.

This is all, of course, in good fun. Brady has a golf event to promote, and he's doing one heck of a job of it. And don't worry about Rodgers too much, he seems to be having a good day.

The Match tees off on Tuesday, July 6 at 5 p.m. ET from Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana. TNT has coverage of the fun summer event.
