The coronavirus hasn’t slowed down one bit in the United States, as the country is now seeing an abundance of cases on a daily basis. Unfortunately, one NFL owner has been hospitalized because of the virus.
Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill has spent the past few weeks traveling the East Coast. After developing a few symptoms of COVID-19, Bidwill decided to get tested. Once his test came back positive, the doctors advised him to go to a hospital.
Fortunately, the Cardinals expect Bidwill to be released from the hospital this weekend due to the fact that his symptoms have faded away.
Bidwill, who is 55 years old, is on the younger side when it comes to being an NFL owner. While it sounds like he’ll be OK moving forward, it just goes to show how dangerous this virus can be for anyone regardless of age.

The Cardinals have been active in the fight against the coronavirus. They donated $1 million to the AZ Coronavirus Relief Fund a few months ago.
As for the rest of the NFL, the current issue at hand is figuring out how to handle training camp. Both the NFL and NFL Players Association have not agreed on contract structures and health guidelines for the fall.
Obviously we’d all love to see football being played this fall, but the health of the coaches, players and staff members is paramount right now.
