Colin Cowherd Names NFL's "Younger" Aaron Rodgers

Colin Cowherd had an intriguing statement about one NFL quarterback on Thursday.

Cowherd thinks that Kyle Murray is a younger version of Aaron Rodgers but for one distinct reason. He thinks they conduct themselves in a similar manner, which in turn makes it more difficult for them to win at the highest level.

"Kyler Murray is Aaron Rodgers," Cowherd said. "Aloof, trust issues and kind of do their own thing. And so, Kliff Kingsbury and Matt LaFleur, as they're building cultures, the quarterbacks don't really lean into it. It's not who they are. It's harder to build a great culture because, in both Kyler and Aaron's situation, they're so talented that they lean on their talent."

Cowherd does have a point about Murray since he's always been talented. He's coming off a fabulous season when he finished with 3,787 yards through the air, 24 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.

However, there have multiple storylines with him throughout the offseason where it seemed like he was going to ask out and that he's done his own thing during games.

The relationship between the two sides seems to be in a better place right now. Murray will look to lead the Cardinals back to the playoffs in 2022.
