Bill O’Brien shocked the NFL world last week by trading DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona, and by doing that he also upset thousands of Houston fans.
There aren’t many wideouts that put up numbers like Hopkins. Over the last three years, the former Clemson star has totaled 315 receptions for 4,115 yards and 31 touchdowns.
Hopkins had solid chemistry with Houston quarterback Deshaun Watson. They were a threat to connect on an explosive play at any given moment, but unfortunately we won’t be seeing that duo any longer.
Fortunately for Hopkins, the Cardinals have a talented gunslinger in Kyler Murray. If there were any concerns about whether or not Hopkins would like his new home, his latest tweet should put them to rest.
Here’s the message that Hopkins shared for Cardinals fans:
AZ WHAT IT DO BABY!!!

It’ll be fun to see how Hopkins performs in Arizona. He’ll have the opportunity to play alongside a future Hall of Famer in Larry Fitzgerald.
At this stage in his career, Hopkins is a well-rounded wideout, but Fitzgerald could probably still teach him a thing or two.
The Cardinals will need a strong year from Hopkins if they want to compete with the 49ers, Rams and Seahawks in the NFC West.
