For a little while this offseason, the relationship between Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals appeared to be on rocky ground.

Murray famously deleted--and later re-posted--all of the photos on his Instagram account. There was also a report on Super Bowl Sunday from ESPN's Chris Mortensen quoting unnamed sources saying that Murray is “self-centered, immature and a finger pointer.”

Murray's agent also put out a statement indicating his client might be feeling underappreciated by the team. It all added up to a world of drama, but on Thursday, Murray tried to downplay all of that.

When asked about his future with the organization, Murray reiterated his commitment to the Cardinals.

"I'm an Arizona Cardinal. I've done nothing but give my all to the Cardinals and will continue to do that," Murray said. "I'm not really too worried about my future as a Cardinal."

Not surprisingly, Cardinals fans are pretty excited about his comments.

Now, even if the 2019 No. 1 overall pick does suit up for the Cardinals in 2022, it doesn't mean Murray is guaranteed to play there for his entire career. Things in the NFL can change quickly.

For now though, there's no reason to believe Murray won't be back wearing an Arizona uniform this fall.
