Cardinals QB Kyler Murray has a new elite receiver he'll be throwing to in 2020.

The DeAndre Hopkins trade has sent the NFL community into a frenzy - particularly for Cardinals fans. Hopkins - who many consider the best receiver in the NFL - is now set to team up with Murray and an exciting Arizona offense.

The Cardinals' second-year passer now has plenty of weapons to work with on an intriguing Arizona squad. The Cardinals could be a sleeper team in a stacked NFC West Division that includes the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.

Murray had the perfect response to the blockbuster trade following the news on Monday afternoon. He's clearly thrilled about acquiring Hopkins, as seen in the tweet below:

Arizona went 5-10-1 in 2019, but there's no doubt the Cardinals are on an upward trajectory. Murray had a tremendous rookie season, throwing for 3,722 yards and 20 touchdowns with 12 interceptions.

With another elite weapon like Hopkins in the fold, Murray's numbers should improve next season. Hopkins caught 104 passes for 1,165 yards and seven touchdowns last year. The Cardinals receiver was outstanding in last season's playoff for Houston, catching 15 passes for 208 yards in two playoff contests.

Arizona is bound for a big season in 2020 with Hopkins in the Cardinals offense.
