The NFL trade deadline is in a little over a week, but you might not have been able to tell based on the Los Angeles Rams' flurry of moves last week. They pulled off a trio of trades that ultimately netted them Jaguars Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey. But according to reports, there could have been a fourth Rams trade, this time with the Cleveland Browns.

According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Rams were looking to make a move for Browns guard Joel Bitonio. Per the report, Los Angeles was willing to offer CB Marcus Peters to make the deal work.

The Browns didn't to give up Bitonio in the deal, but were willing to counter-offer with offensive lineman Austin Corbett. Los Angeles ended up getting Corbett in exchange for a 2021 fifth-round draft pick.

As for Peters, he was ultimately traded to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for LB Kenny Young and a 2020 fifth-round pick.

But it was the third trade that the Rams pulled off that made the biggest waves: The blockbuster trade with Jacksonville for Ramsey.

Los Angeles gave up two first-round picks in a package for the two-time Pro Bowler.

The Rams will have a very different look in the weeks and months to come. At 3-3 on the season, we'll see if they turn out to be the winners from those trades.
