Six years after being fired as head coach of the Los Angeles Rams, Jeff Fisher returns to the head coaching ranks today as the head coach of the USFL's Michigan Panthers.
Naturally, Fisher made sure to dress for the occasion. And you'd better believe that Fisher was wearing his Sunday best when his Panthers took on the Houston Gamblers.
Fisher was seen wearing a Michigan Panthers sweatshirt with his hat turned backwards. With his white hair and moustache, he invoked the look of someone trying way too hard to look young.
Football fans quickly took to Twitter and had all kinds of fun at Fisher's expense over the ridiculous look. Just about everyone is comparing him to that famous meme of Steve Buscemi saying "How do you do, fellow kids?"
Jeff Fisher went 173-165-1 in 22 years as a head coach. He ranks 11th on the NFL's all-time wins list and has the most wins in Tennessee Titans history.
Over the past five years Fisher has found no shortage of work as an analyst and broadcaster. He briefly returned to his old Nashville stomping grounds last year to serve as an advisor to the Tennessee State Tigers under Eddie George - his former star running back.
Now the 64-year-old former NFL head coach is giving full-time coaching another go. We'll see if he can find the kind of title-winning success in the USFL that he struggled to find in the NFL.
The Panthers-Gamblers game is being played on NBC.
