Bobby Wagner has finally made his free-agent decision.

He's signing a whopper of a deal with the Los Angeles Rams, despite being 32 years old. Per Adam Schefter, Wagner has agreed to a five-year deal that's worth up to $65M.

Wagner was reportedly deciding between the Rams and the Ravens before choosing the former. He instantly makes the Rams' defense even more vaunted. He's been one of the best linebackers in the NFL the last decade and can do it all. In fact, he's had 100+ total tackles each season he's been in the league. Wagner was especially sensational in 2021 for Seattle when he finished with 170 total tackles (93 solo), one sack, one forced fumble, one interception, and five passes defended. That said, the NFL world is a bit surprised by this contract.

The Rams are hoping that Wagner can continue to be a difference-maker as they go all-in for a second straight championship.
