Todd Gurley is officially on the market after being released by the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday.
It was only a matter of time before the two sides parted ways. Gurley wasn’t pleased with how Sean McVay utilized him last season – not to mention, Gurley’s health has been an issue for the Rams.
Plenty of teams will be contacting the former Rams RB throughout the coming days. After all, there’s still plenty of upside if Gurley can stay healthy and remain consistent.
The 6-foot-1, 231-pound back isn’t taking his release too harshly, at least. Gurley had a hilarious response to Thursday’s surprising news while he – along with many others – continue to self quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic:
Damn I got fired on my day off😂 #QuaratineAndChill

It’ll be very interesting to see where Gurley ends up. Atlanta seems like a possible destination considering the star back played his collegiate days at Georgia.
Seattle could be a major player here, as well. The Seahawks desperately need help in the running game to assist QB Russell Wilson. It’d also benefit Seattle to take a player from another team in the stacked NFC West.
In what’s already been a wild few days of the NFL off-season, Gurley now appears to be one of the best players available.
