Over the past two weeks, the NFL’s decision on players and coaches receiving the COVID-19 vaccine has been making headlines.
The league sent a clear message hoping that both players and coaches would receive the vaccination before the 2021 season kicks off. However, there remain a group of players and coaches who have decided not to receive the vaccine.
“I’m just evaluating everything right now,” Bosa told reporters today. “I haven’t made a decision.”

Bosa is hardly thee only NFL player to choose not to receive the vaccine at this point. Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins made it clear he has not been vaccinated yet either.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has been the loudest voice against the vaccine so far. He suggested there isn’t enough information yet to lead him to being vaccinated.
“Without having all the proper information, a player can feel misguided and unsure about a very personal choice, makes a player feel unprotected and gives concerns about future topics regarding health and our ability to make educated decisions.”
There is no rule mandating that players are vaccinated before the season begins.
